Your browser is probably blocking pop-up windows. Usually it will give you a warning at the top of the window or in the address bar at the top. Clicking on it will usually give you the option to allow pop-up windows from iconpractice.com.
Specifically for Chrome browser you may need to enter an exception. To manually allow pop-ups from a site, follow the steps below:
- Click the Chrome menu
on the browser toolbar.
- Select Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings.
- in the “Privacy” section, click the Content settings button.
- In the “Pop-ups” section, click Manage exceptions.
- Type in [*.]iconpractice.com (copy and paste it if you like) into the “Add New Hostname” box.
- This should now allow popups.
For Firefox visit here for full details: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pop-blocker-settings-exceptions-troubleshooting
For Internet Explorer visit here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Internet-Explorer-Pop-up-Blocker-frequently-asked-questions and look at the “How can I choose to allow pop-ups from a specific website?” section.
For Safari on a Mac go to Safari->Preferences->Security and untick the “Block pop-up windows” box.
To enable popups on the iPad, go to Settings > Safari > Block Pop-Ups Option and select OFF.

This is a problem which seems to be unique to Firefox where it automatically disables scroll bars on pop up windows. To fix it type about:config into the address bar at the top.
Firefox will ask you to confirm you want to change the settings. Click “I’ll be careful, I promise”.
Scroll down to dom.disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars, it should be set to true. If not, double click and it should change to true.
Scroll bars should now show. Alternatively it might be easier just to use Chrome 🙂
When I open the diary no appointments or practitioner hours are visible.
If you are using one of the recommended browsers (Chrome or Firefox) then the most common reason for this occurring is that the timezone on your computer is set to a different timezone than your practice. The timezone conflict causes the practitioner hours not to display, and the appointments will be displayed at incorrect times. To avoid this ensure your computer timezone is set to the same as your practice timezone. Your practice timezone is visible under Settings->System Configuration. Instructions on how to change your computer’s timezone should be described in your computer’s instruction manual.
